Julian Errington

Director and Mortgage Adviser

At work

With over 35 years’ experience, Julian has worked across all areas of mortgage advice, from first-time buyers to complex buy-to-let, portfolio landlords, self-build projects and large loans.

His experience across such a wide range of cases means he quickly understands different situations and the challenges that come with them.

Julian enjoys working with a wide range of clients, and takes real satisfaction in helping people move towards their dreams and goals.

At home

When Julian is away from the office, he enjoys being outside, whatever the weather.

From walking through the New Forest where he lives, to running on his own, walking the dog or riding his horse, he likes to keep active and outdoors.

Afterwards, he especially enjoys ending up at a good forest pub with his family and taking the time to relax.

Julian in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

Outside, enjoying the outdoors and fresh air.

My favourite holiday destination is:

Anywhere hot and relaxing.

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

Doctor Who – I would love to time travel.

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

Sorting socks!

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

  • Modesty.
  • Their smile.
  • Conversation.

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

  • Elton John.
  • Boris Johnson.
  • Gyles Brandreth.

The three small things that make my day better are:

  • Sunshine.
  • Good food.
  • A walk in the morning.

Three things I haven’t done so far include:

  • More travelling.
  • Work with horses.
  • Honeymoon with my wife.

    Julian's dislikes:

  • Rats!
  • Being late.
  • Busy crowds.
  • An untidy home.
  • Badly cooked food.
